After the client was given a modification quote, the OEM later called to say that their engineering team had offered the quotation incorrectly. They then recommended the purchase of an entirely new system as the simplest way to meet the requirements. This option would have meant considerable expense and delay associated with a purchase, along with the time and money required to “revalidate” the packaging line.
